Sorry, peeps, not feeling too good so no energy for narrative to go with these. Promise to update it and tell you all about it. But. If you have never read anything written or edited by Terri Windling, Emma Bull, or Will Shetterly, go NOW to your bookseller of choice and pick up anything with their name on it. Many of Emma & Will's works are out of print, but if you go to Will's blog then check the links at the bottom of the page, you'll find many of their paperbacks on sale at their online shop. Emma's War of the Oaks is a classic. Any of the Borderlands or Liavek shared world stories (in several books each by other well-known and amazing fantasy and science fiction authors) are just a wonderful read.
Emma and Will led the One-Day Novelist workshop I took and Terri is artist in residence, well, one of them, at Endicott West.
More pictures including some of the Republic of Bisbee, AZ...Ok. Bisbee first:
I believe the sign says St. Elmo's was established in 1902...you can't really see it unless you squint (twilight shot), but those doors are honest-to-god swinging saloon doors. And one more of the Casita, this time the private porch that looks out onto the private garden...
g'night, Gracie...
More amazing photos, as your travel pictures always are!

I love the gates. The way the wings sweep together and meet is just beyond words.
