So this is the original Silk Garden, 45% silk, 45% kid mohair, 10% lamb's wool, colorway #22. It is amazingly soft and with a silky lustre that's difficult to capture in a photo.
and this is the fabric in giant brioche rib with two strands held together.
Above it the sweater to be. IF I can find the pattern which is somewhere in the mud room. And lastly, below is the equally lovely Cotton Kureyon, left to right color way 17 and 12. It's 70% cotton, 30% wool and very soft. No twigs. No knots. Why did old Eisaku crap out on his earlier vision of color AND quality?
Wow, you were not kidding--that cotton is amazing!
Very pretty brioche rib, I need to try that.
Have a good weekend :)

Oooh, that Cotton Kureyon is lovely stuff. I love the blue/green colorway ... they don't make that anymore, do they? Too bad, it's lovely, and it'd make such a fun summer sweater! Now I'm jealous ... :)

Oh. My. God. That is beautiful! It appears that Eisaku fellow did, indeed, crap out on us! damn. I wish I would have discovered Noro back in the old school days...

COTTON Kureyon?! Is this old school Noro? It would make a fabulous spring/cool summer night Clapotis! Do you know of any other variegated cotton yarn?
