Here's the view out of the window of the casita on Sunday morning. Those are the Rincon Mountains east of Tucson.
The red-gold Rincons at sunset.
This is the inside of the casita that greeted me late Friday night when I arrived.
...and peeps (yes, pun intended), these are the blue-green eggs (true color) from Danielle's chickens. No lie. For lunch on Saturday, we had a giant frittata with mixed fresh greens and tarte aux Poires all from Danielle's kitchen. And a good California rose'... more tomorrow, mwah.
Glad you arrived safe and have such a beautiful view from your abode, is the horse for riding or just for admiring? What breed of chickens, I know there are some breeds here who also produce coloured eggs but bin the main are rare breeds.
Enjoy your time and good luck on Sunday finding a place worthy of you wallet :0) There are weight limitations on planes aren't there, ha-ha but then fibre and beads weigh light, cough.

So beautiful...sigh...as I look out my window at snow covered ground. Hey, I get those eggs from a friend when my ducks aren't laying! They're from Araucana chickens, and they're hard to eat because they're so pretty!

I love the photo of the mountains. The colors are wonderful! I love the way to trees seem to be leaning on a diagonal like they want ot fall into line with the mountains.

That's one hell of a room with a view. I can't wait for the stories, once you're feeling rested and settled back into the shock of Miami-dom.
Lovely palette.
