is pretty nice down here in paradise. The new jardinero has come and gone and palms and shrubs are trimmed and looking good. Muy amigo Guillermo has helped me establish the new computer station in the front bedroom which allows me to look at the street and the yard whilst tip tapping away here. However, since my butt is perched on a high, unpadded wooden stool, computer time is broken up by frequent stretch and anti-varicosity breaks. we won't discuss what might get varicosed if I don't take a break, no we won't.
Now I'd show you that view but for the fact that I cannot find the fucking camera cord. Since I am on my way to Utah on Friday, early on tomorrow's agenda is tearing the house apart to find it. hold me back. yet more chaos chez FiberTriibe.
In lieu of more heartfelt or confessional late night musings, how about some choice bits to go find? Go now to Petite's blog and listen to the audioblog of Lamb's song, Gorecki. Petite has just had her heart cut from her loving body and has need of Lou(ise) Rhodes' lovely words and music for sorrow and hope. And go see Edge for another quite different take on same.
3D tribe may be thin on the ground here in Paradise, but by the fiber and quality of my electronic friends, I could be living in the longhouse of love...that is all from paradise.
That's sad. Vivid, real, human, humane...but sad. And an awful feeling even when it springs form making the right choice.
Utah?

Aw, but soon to be 3D electronic friends (again). Kinda cool how that works. Woohoo! I'm picking you up Friday morning and showing you the coolness that Salt Lake has. Be hungry and ready. And then that's only the beginning... there's still Cedar City, too....

living in the longhouse of love
I'm loving that. Something needs to be named that, a book, a movie.
How about a beast in the longhouse of love?

Also enjoyed the longhouse of love phrase . . . and got lost in that haunting song (just added another item to my ever-growing list) Have fun in Utah!
