Would be some of this...
Sorry for the blurriness, the photographer had evidently had a bit too much Halloween. Or maybe it
this?
no, really, here's the excuse...
caught in the middle of a cattle drive on Route 12 in the heart of Boulder... or...
hiking twice to Lower Calf Creek Falls.
or maybe it was the piece de resistance: flying over Hell's Backbone Grill and the Boulder Mouintain Lodge in a Long EZ experimental plane...
That's the 6'3" pilot standing in front of his seat, my seat is the visible area to the right of where he's standing. Yes, it has nose gear. You lift up the nose and crank it down with a hand crank. Cute. Bite-sized, even... And lest you think I take any of this for granted, I pinch myself every day just testing to be sure I don't wake up back in Kansas Miami. This (below) is where I work as seen from the Long EZ.
This is where I work (to the right of the pond). And no, I haven't knit a stitch since I got here. But I will for the 68 degree days are bound to end soon. Next time: Hiking Peekaboo and Spooky slot canyons off the Dry Fork Trailhead off Hole-in-the-Rock road. And I've got the skinned hands, shoulders, elbows etc, to prove it. And from my heart to yours, if you think this sort of paradise and/or happiness is not possible for yourself? Not so. If I can do it, anyone can do it. It's a leap but it isn't as big a leap as you might think. If you're teetering on the brink I'd be honored to give you inspiration.
You do ...give inspiration, I mean. Watching the adventure you are on is food for thought.

I'm jealous. I would love to have a little Long EZ. Great little aircraft.
