I've just finished my first ever pair of socks in Colinette Jitterbug, colorway Jewel here:
but really the blues look much deeper and, well, jewel-like and much more like Lapis here:
I used the ever lovely F. Pea's Intro to Socks found here, and I have to say that it's a great and simple pattern for a beginning sock knitter. I found only two minor quibbly mistakes in the pattern. Nothing to write home (or Ms. Pea) about.
So HOW irrationally pleased am I? Let's just say if you're living and breathing (the latter is optional) in Boulder, Utah today, you've had these socks waved under your nose repeatedly and with much glee. The non-knitters just. don't. get. it. Not that I cared, heh. This is equal opportunity glee...woot!
Hello babes been thinking about you but do not know how to contact you anymore. and I am not the only one. Give us a dingle please

Nice sock colors. At least you get to wear them, once knit. Still sweltering here. Sounds like all is well.
